Since we were designing the overall wedding outfits so we wanted to make them color coordinated for the wedding and contrast for the reception. Also, they wanted to groomsmen and Bridesmaid outfits to be in a specific color. The design process was elaborate and samples really helped them decide as exactly what they wanted.

They loved the sample file as it really helped them decide the color, embroidery and fabrics for all the outfits along with accessories. A lot of love and appreciation bestowed on us by the couple!

The custom made lehenga was hand embroidered all over along with very intricate hand work with two dupattas. Groom sherwani requirements was to match it up with Arisha’s outfit along with custom made soft shawl with hand embroidered shoes.

We wish them a very happy and amazing wedding journey for a life time. Our gorgeous couple from New Zealand requested for custom made wedding wear in the pastel shades.

Instagram super Influencer and TikTok star ‘Tenn Buick’ got wedding wear custom made!

Requirements were simple that it has to be most amazing outfits with a particular shade of red, so we sent a shade card for color selection along with sketches and various embroidery options in a sample file.

The outfits were designed and various changes were made while sketching the outfits. Once the designed was approved, measurements were taken on video call for the perfect fit. We also made Tenn’s father’s sherwani and mother’s outfits for the wedding as per their requirements. Tenn couldn’t be happier with the result and so we are! Big congratulation to our Star Couple for their amazing journey ahead!

Big Congratulations to this beautiful couple! Amit came to us for a very special outfit which was out of the league as most of the grooms go for sherwanis of various kinds but he wanted an Anarkali kurta with embroidered shawl with matching shoes to compliment the look.

We first created a sketch of Anarkali Kurta as per the requirements given by Amit where he was very particular of the design that he wanted to have and sketch really made him clear his thoughts and design. Then we created outfit samples where he choose the embroideries and fabric along with the shawl design.

We are so happy that the outfits came exactly as per the requirements and we couldn’t be happier. We wish both of them a very happy life ahead!

One of the sweetest and most amazing Sikh couple that we designed wedding and reception outfits for. They live in US and had planned to come to India for their wedding which many of the couples are doing considering their whole families live in India.

Kavita wanted a sharara and Param wanted a sherwani with designed patterns along with a custom made Shawl to go with it. For reception they wanted a Lehenga and kurta pajama with jacket. The designed was first approved via sketch and later samples were created for all the outfits so that they can actually look and feel the fabric and embroideries.

They loved the outfits as its was not only perfect to the requirements but also fitted them perfectly. Both the doctors from US bestowed their love and appreciations on us.

GetEthnic is proud to have designed complete wedding outfits of Natasha and John wedding. Outfits for our gorgeous couple include custom made Bride Lehenga, Groom sherwani, Reception outfits, bridesmaids lehengas, groomsmen kurtas along with accessoires and matching hand embroidered shoes.

This is what Natasha has to say :

“We had the best experience with Richa creating our wedding outfits and wedding party outfits. She made the process seamless and easy and literally brought our vision to life! We couldn’t have had a better experience and recommend her services to anyone looking to create a specific look. Thank you all so much for everything! We couldn’t be happier!”

Our lovely couple from Singapore wanted to get special outfits which are made for each other just like themself.

They wanted an outfit which is not only color coordinated but also embroidery and fabric coordinated. Blue is the color of the choice since both had blue color cars.

Along with the outfits they wanted to get shoes and other accessories as well. Thank you to the lovely couple for all the compliments and love they showered on us.

Our gorgeous bride Varsha had a very specific requirement as she wanted a Lehenga and bridesmaid dresses as she wanted outfits in pure fabrics.

The sample file that was made for her went with many hand embroidery samples along with fabrics like pure silk, pure crepe and pure raw silk.

The embroideries that were done on the fabric was with beads, dabka, sequences and cutdana. There was also a sample blouse that went along with the sample file to make sure we check her size as she was in process of losing weight. Varsha loved her Lehenga to the core along with the bridesmaid outfits and we couldn’t be happier!

Mackenzie & Manik wanted the wedding outfit which complement each other and they wanted a combination of white and red with main outfits (both lehenga & sherwani) in white and paired with red shawls. Manik wanted a little deeper shade of red where as Mackenzie wanted to go on lighter side of red for her shawl.

Both the outfits were hand and machine embroidered and they absolutely looked gorgeous! Being a plus size bride we wanted to make sure that the blouse of the lehenga fits perfectly so we sent blouse samples and took the perfect measurements so that the lehenga blouse is bang on. The fitting was perfect and both Mackenzie & Manik loved their outfits!

Mackenzie Says: “Richa was amazing to work with and extremely patient with me loving everything but narrowing down what I wanted for my vow renewal. Cannot wait to wear my lehenga and see my husband fully in his sherwani in a few months! :) *note: everything was individually wrapped and fit in this amazing box, I just was incredibly impatient when I got it that I don’t have a true before picture inside the box*”

The wedding was beautiful and awesome on a beach side and so were their outfits. Sydney contacted us for the outfits for both bride and groom. As she was not too aware about the Indian culture and wedding attires. our designer helped her through out the way.

We are so happy that the lehenga and Sherwani along with all the accessories come out perfectly as per their requirements and we couldn’t be happier for this amazing couple. Thanks Sydney for showering your love on us!

Karan & Manprabodh approached us via referral and they knew our process very well. Both Karan and manprabodh had a very clear idea about what they wanted. Defiantly the sketch helped them a very as it helped them to finalise the design. They also wanted the matching custom made accessories.

We couldn’t be happier that they loved their outfits. We also made bridesmaids and complete family outfit of the wedding. We want to congratulate this amazing couple and a very happy married life!

Our amazing couple Neha and Corbin contacted us from Denver and they are one of the sweetest and most loving folks. They gave a very slight idea as what they wanted and the colors that they prefer and rest they left everything to us.

They also wanted matching accessories like shoes, stoles and turban. Once we had a design call with the couple we created sketched and it got approved in no time! They wanted the outfits to be color coordinated and fabrics should be of highest quality so the sample file was very helpful for the couple. They loved the outfits and we love them. Lot’s of love!

Jaspal wanted two sherwanis for both wedding and reception and Priyanaka wanted a a stunning suit for their silk wedding. Both wedding and reception sherwanis were completely hand embroidered and Jaspal wanted custom made shoes to match the sherwani along with same color turban cloth.

The designing part of the reception sherwani was very tricky as he wanted it to be rich and royal with specific color embroidery. Punjabi suit as designed for the wedding was a traditional yet stunning royal. Many samples were made and shared to fulfill the exact requirements and the output couldn’t make the couple happier.

Big congratulations to the stunning couple Aradhana & Rajat. Dr Aradhana contacted us from US and told her that she’ll be getting married in India so she wanted a bridal lehenga which is custom made as per her requirements. The lehenga that we designed for her was very intricate as it had flow of sequence and cutdana work in a long line and rest of the lehenga also had asymmetric pattern. The technique of making this lehenga is very specific and it was made exactly as per requirements and so as the sherwani.

Regular updates were being shared and little changes were made to accommodate new changes as requested. Couple couldn’t be happier and so are!

Shruti and Amol contacted us from Dallas. They were very specific about their needs from the beginning – they wanted something completely traditional. After a lot of discussion, we decided to go for the combination that would never fail – red and gold!

The bride and the groom wanted color co-ordinated outfits. So we took red and gold fabric and used zari embroidery, sequin work and gold thread work on both outfits. The family outfits were also custom made by GetEthnic and we chose the bright blue tone – a common element for the same. The color would complement as well as look a bit unconventional with the red and gold of the couple. Shruti’s gold and green lehenga for the reception was designed keeping the traditional theme in mind. It has elaborate gold sequin and stone work on the skirt and a Banarasi dupatta.

Nitin and Kamal – the lovely couple from Ontario, Canada – wanted co-ordinated outfits not only for themselves but also for members of their families, the groomsmen and the bridesmaids.

After some serious brainstorming, in which both Nitin and Kamal participated themselves, we narrowed down on a pastel color scheme. The bride and the groom wore neutral beige shades perked up with detailed intricate gold thread embroidery.

We used floral details and added a pastel pink dupatta to the bride’s outfit. The bridesmaids were in pistachio green kurtas balanced with gold net dupattas. The groomsmen were in pastel pink. The family members adopted similar tones with the floral theme still going! We gave floral printed turbans to the male members. The co-ordinated looks appear great in real life and even better in pictures. That’s the magic of customized outfits.

Sofia was very keen on a wedding day outfit that would be having both traditional and unique elements! She also wanted something simple and light with minimal embellishment! But our expertise with Indian wedding wear told us that something very simple would not go with the mood of the big fat Indian wedding!

Though this bride from Michigan, USA, was difficult to please, the sample file turned out to be a game changer! Together, we narrowed down on a warm red fabric. The choli was simple with intricately ornate borders. The skirt and the dupatta was given finely thread embroidered leaves and flowers. But the broad gold border on the dupatta and the band of gold on the skirt, gave the much needed glam quotient to the outfit!

The bride and Groom comes from Germany and got their custom made Lehenga and sherwani along with function outfits.

They came with reference pictures and wanted to make some special changes to give it a more personalized look. The Bridal lehenga was hand embroidered with beads, dabka, sequences and cutdana.

The sherwani was hand embroidered all over in the front and just a little work on the back. Varun also got custom shoes made with the same patch as present on the sherwani.

This is a very special couple and so were their requirements as Arushi wanted something royal yet traditional in design and Akshay wanted a sherwani with ombre look. We wanted to design and give them a color coordinated look with complete hand embroidery.

The design process which included the sketches to finalize the outfit look really helped them. They loved the sample file that was shared as it really helped them decide exactly what the wanted, it had sketches, various embroidery and swatch samples of both lehenga, sherwani, function outfits along with accessories. The sample file is a miniature version of the actual outfit.

Pooja from Ontario, Canada was not at all indecisive about what she wanted in her wedding lehenga! She was keen on a dark red to maroon color from the beginning and to make the outfit all the more traditional we added intricate zardozi motifs all over. However, it was difficult to please Vaibhav. He was fixed on a neutral tone yet wanted his sherwani to be jazzy and rich!

After several rounds of discussions and sample selection, we gave him a cream tone sherwani with all over golden zari and zardozi embroidery! The work is detailed and dense. We also designed outfits for the couple’s pre and post wedding functions in which we kept the floral theme going along with the use of pastel shades like greys, parrot green, peach etc.

Our Beautiful bride Alison who approached us with little idea about the Lehenga that she is looking for but not too sure about the details of embroidery, fabric and designing.

She loved the sample file where she got idea about each and every aspect of the lehenga as we shared multiple embroidery options within the budget along with many fabric options. Out of all the options given she loved the velvet fabric and went for mix of hand and machine embroidery. She so much loved her outfit and she sent all the love for helping her with her bridal lehenga and we count be happier!

With the motivation from this beautiful Jain bride from Ontario, Canada- Anjali – we at GetEthnic were able to push our boundaries and get out of our comfort zones to create one of the most unique wedding dresses one has ever heard about!

Jains strongly believe in practicing ahimsa or non-violence! Not only are Jains purely vegetarian, they even do not consume anything, the harvesting process of which, may kill insects or micro-organism. Though not the same things, the Jain lifestyle has many similarities with veganism. Anjali was very keen on following the same philosophy when it came to her wedding attire. She did not want to wear silk which is one of the most popular fabrics when it comes to Indian wedding wear. This is because silk is made from a type of insect called the silk worm.

Now this was a challenge for us at GetEthnic. We wholeheartedly wanted to cater to Anjali’s need and immediately our team set out to research vegan fabrics until we found Bemberg Silk. It wasn’t easy to source and we could track down a sole supplier in Vegas. After sourcing the material we got on with the designing process. Going with the Jain philosophy of non-violence, we kept the color of the gown white! To represent the purity of thought behind this unique outfit we decided to keep the embellishments minimal. Gold beads and thread work completed the look which was made even more unique by the high-low hemline. After all it was an Indian wedding and so we added a subtle red and gold dupatta to be used like a veil.

Sumaita and Rahul wanted us to design the outfits for the entire wedding starting from the bridal lehenga and groom sherwani along with custom made accessories. They also wanted us to design Haldi, cocktail and bridesmaids and groomsmen outfits.

The requirements were very specific for all the outfits. Also the sketches really helped them to finials what was not too clear in the minds. Bridesmaids sarees were also custom made as per the size of each bridesmaid and so were the kurta pajama Jacket for the groomsmen.

They loved each and every outfit that was made for them and received so many compliments. We couldn’t be happier and we wish them all the love and happiness!

Sarah wanted to get Bridal Lehenga and reception dress from us. The design that she wanted for the Lehenga was very specific as she wanted to have peacocks on it the lower part and had a very specific color of blue. She was blown away with the result as she felt that the requirements and designed exactly came as discussed and as per the sketch.

Reception dress had design on the blouse and plain all over. We are so glad that she got the look and outfits exactly as she wanted.

Natassia and Rama are very special couple for us as we first designed their outfits as a bridesmaid and groomsman and then later designed their wedding wear!

Natassia wanted a Lehenga having a special color of embroideries in mind and Rama wanted to have a sherwani with only minimum work on it. They new about our sample file and that’s the first thing that they wanted us to give them as per the design along with the shade card.

They loved their wedding attires and we wish the amazing couple all the love and happiness!

Bijal and Jay, from New York, wanted something traditional yet unique for the wedding and something Indo-western for the reception. For the wedding day, we gave Bijal a maroon lehenga. But there was a twist – instead of stereotypical gold zari work we option for bead, stone and zardozi embroidery in a pale gold hue.

Jay wore a gold sherwani jacket but instead of churidar bottoms, we made him wear a maroon dhoti with an ornate border. Bijal’s Indo-western reception gown was the talk of the town! Together with her, we narrowed down on a three-tier asymmetrical gown with a plain crop top. It was simple yet elegant! Co-ordinating the groomsmen and bridesmaids outfits was fun. We gave the groomsmen green waistcoats with cream toned kurta-pajama.

The bridesmaids looked fabulous in teal blue lehengas paired with off-white and silver cholis.

It was great fun to work with this bubbly couple from Toronto – Pooja and Amreek. They did not have any particular fancy regarding their wedding outfits but together it took a few rounds of discussions and planning to select the final designs.

Pooja was keen on a ‘not so flared’ skirt so we had decided to go for something between a straight and a fit-and-flare cut. The sample file was a blessing as it helped her understand and visualize the different textures, colors and motifs her wedding lehenga was going to have. We opted for velvet in dark green and warm red with the mandatory gold boota work. For the skirt we went for vertical kalka-theme motifs that accentuated the shape of the attire.

Amreek went for a cream tone sherwani with gold thread work and bootas all over. He paired it with white churidar bottoms and a red turban to match the lehenga of his bride. We also customized co-ordinated post and pre wedding outfits for the couple. Their blue and gold theme sangeet outfits were a huge hit among family and friends.

From the beginning itself, this couple from Los Angeles, California was positive about giving equal weightage to both their wedding and pre-wedding outfits! While Neha did not experiment with her wedding look and wore a traditional red lehenga, Chris opted for more experimental ensembles. On one occasion, we gave him a pastel green kurta-pajama set paired with a sequinned waistcoat. On another, he flaunted a high-low achkan in charcoal with floral embossed motifs paired with a gold dhoti.

Neha also goes for a floral look in a white and pink embroidered lehenga! From a pink short sherwani to a three-layer embellished sherwani having a period charm – Chris went all out when it came to his wedding outfits! GetEthnic also designed co-ordinated groomsmen outfits for the wedding – pastel blue sherwanis paired with cream toned tapered trousers.

At GetEthnic, we specialize in and are proud catering to women who defy pre-set standards of beauty and believe in the concept of body positivity. As a brand, one of our driving philosophies is inclusivity! This is why, when the gorgeous bride Namrata approached us from Chicago, we became really excited to create something for her which would complement her figure as well as her personality.

When it comes to plus size women, customization is the key to perfection! For her bridal lehenga, Namrata chose a dark wine tone which looked great on her! We insisted on minimal embellishment and came up with boota motifs all over, an ornate border for the dupatta and floral sequin and dabka work motifs for the skirt hem.

For the party lehenga, Namrata chose a minimalistic light pastel lime tone lehenga. We opted for a non-traditional cut and all over thread work resembling a textured design. This added more depth to the outfit, complemented the pastel tone and the made the look all the more contemporary.

This lovely bride from Denver – Neha, reached out to us for her wedding lehenga! She was one of the easiest clients to work with as she was very sure about what she wanted! Neha wanted us to customize a wedding lehenga for her that would involve multiple shades of pink!

She showed us a few pictures she had selected and we got the most brilliant idea ever – to create for her the quintessential pink bridal lehenga! While her lehenga is in a pastel pink tone, the bright pink thread work and the fuchsia dupatta create color contrasts pleasing to the eye.

The use of stones, pearls, dabka, cut-dana complement the floral style. GetEthnic also created outfits for the bridesmaids and the kids! It was a day-time wedding so we used a lot of pastel tones and contemporary styles like pairing crop top style cholis with straight cut lehenga skirts, lehenga style dresses etc.

Curvy bride – Aarti – from Chicago was very unsure about what to wear on her wedding day! Used to wearing formal and casual contemporary outfits most of the time, she was really apprehensive about how she will look in traditional ethnic wear!

So, the most important ingredient that we needed to add to her final outfit was assurance and confidence! We narrowed down on a sea green color and to make her feel more confident we decided to go for layers. Aarti did not want a traditional lehenga-choli. So we gave her a lehenga style gown with an ornate border and topped it up with a sheer net cape. It was knee length and had a slit down the middle from the waist level.

The silhouette thus formed looked beautiful. The cape also showcased traditional gold embroidered motifs all over! Aarti later told us, “Everyone loved the outfit…I felt like a princess.”! Now, that’s the magic of customization!

With this couple, GetEthnic could take the concept of co-ordinated wedding wear to an all new level! Shruti and Gaurav from Los Angeles, California wanted matching wedding outfits but they wanted the outfits to be totally unconventional.

Several rounds of brainstorming later, the sample file proved extremely useful and we agreed upon a silvery white fabric for the lehenga – totally unconventional in the Indian context! This was coupled with silver hand-embroidery.

The embroidery on the blouse was particularly exquisite using stones, crystals, beads and pearls. To co-ordinated this magical white lehenga with Gaurav’s glossy black sherwani, we added a patch of similarly embroidered fabric on the sherwani sleeves. An ornate collar and embellished buttons completed this otherwise unconventional groom look.

At GetEthnic, we have not restricted ourselves to the designing of wedding lehengas alone! You can also get your wedding saree customized by us! For example, this Nepali couple from Michigan – Neelabh and Ashima – wanted traditional wedding wear from us, with a bit of the GetEthnic twist!

Nepali brides usually wear the mekhala sador made of pure muga silk. But Ashima wanted a saree. So we maintained the traditional theme and gave her a red wedding saree fully hand embroidered in gold thread and sequins. Instead of the dhoti-kurta, Neelabh wore a ghagraor kurta, having a unique neckline, with tapered trousers. The borders and belt of the outfit showcase thread embroidery in silver.

The charming bride Pooja from Stockholm, Sweden, approached us with very specific needs regarding her wedding lehenga

For starters, she wanted to use both red and pink on the outfit! Stockholm is sometimes regarded as the city of contrasts as it represents a harmonic blend of modern pop culture with rich history and heritage! And this concept is exactly what inspired us to create Pooja’s bridal outfit – a beautiful blend of contrasts! Pooja also wanted the floral theme. So we brought together bright tones of red and pink and blended that with pastel pink and brown floral motifs, a lot of net and a lot of lace!

The use of matte gold lace in the cutwork layered hem of the lehenga skirt was the master stroke from our ace designer that brought together the whole look!
